No Name Nut Brown Ale
A roasty, toasty mild session ale
No Name is an unincorporated community and a destination for many travelers. The last time the Census Bureau checked in, there were 123 inhabitants. Many other people visit the area for the stunning views and the outdoor adventure. No Name Creek, which rushes down the No Name Canyon, is an estuary of the Colorado River.
This is a dark beer with a smooth drinkability. It possesses wonderful notes of chocolate, biscuits and nuts, all wrapped into one. We use a small amount of Briess Victory malt to achieve this wonderful nutty profile. This malt is specially prepared by increasing temperatures from 120-750 Fahrenheit at a rapid pace, during the drum roasting process. We also use chocolate malt to achieve a sweet dark profile for this English-Style Brown Ale.
We have been quite successful with this beer at both the World Beer Cup and the Great American Beer Festival, having won Bronze and Silver Medals in 2014 and 2015.
