This California-style Blonde Ale is a great session beer even though it comes in at 5.6% ABV.
We employed a small dose of American variety hops in the boil kettle and a heavier dose late in the boil and again in the dryhop. This allows the beer to have very little bitterness and tons of hop aroma and flavor. This brew is light golden in color and has a nice malty sweetness and higher hop aroma qualities than we’ve ever seen in a traditional Golden or Blonde Ale.
The hot summer days of Glenwood Springs will surely have you buzzing in for a California Blonde.
