Barrel Rolls Oktoberfest

Malty, copper colored Munich lager – Prost!

Oktoberfest was originally a celebration of marriage between King Ludwig I and Theresa of Saxe-Hildburghausen in 1810. The celebration happens in Munich each year. Throughout the years the celebration has grown considerably and now brings in millions of visitors from Bavaria and other countries around Europe and also North America.  Millions of liters of Oktoberfest lager beer are served for the celebration, which typically lasts 17 days, beginning, Sept 16 and ending, October 3rd.

Barrel Rolls Oktoberfest lager is a true Munich-Style Oktoberfest bier. It is brewed with German malts and Noble hop varieties. This lager is then fermented much cooler with yeast from the Weihenstephan yeast bank.  This beer has a bright copper color and a smooth malty character which makes it very drinkable.

Beginning in 2017, Glenwood Canyon Brewpub will host its very own Oktoberfest celebration! We will be serving this special brew in 1 liter glass steins along with traditional Bavarian fare, music and games! We hope to see everyone there. Prost!
